According to Walkscore.com my neighborhood in Lowertown St. Paul is in the 97th percentile for walkability. The score is calculated based on the distance to and number of walkable locations (grocery stores, etc.). Pretty cool.

According to the site most people living in a neighborhood with a walk score above 90 can get by without owning a car. I need mine for work, but the site definately makes me consider taking better advantage of all the nearby conveniences.
